Yesterday was a total fail of a day that resulted in a new phone, and today has resolved the remaining issue--somehow--so I'm confused and this is as much for my tracking as anything else.

This has been a busy weekend work-wise. I traded being on call so I could have the weekend off for GeekGirlCon, but I've gotten called either three or four times so far. I was actually Skyping with my dad this morning when a page came in, and I'm still on that call now ( Read more... )

Long story short, both the power supply for our home unit and our router went pfft and died. Both have been replaced, and one software modification to the router later (no idea what he did) we now have phone, internet, and TV service again. I did not sleep well last night. I got up twice because I couldn't sleep; as a result, I woke up with a pounding headache. 1. Zappos is awesome. I learned yesterday that my shoes were likely to be delivered Tuesday instead of Monday, which meant I needed them to go to WA instead of NJ. I couldn't change the address on UPS myself, so I used their live chat to talk to a customer service rep on Zappos' end. They couldn't change it either, so they updated the original ( Read more... )

Morgan and I took Buddy to the pet country club last night, and went home and did laundry and packed and crawled into bed around 10pm.
